Once illustrious guests of the Bergzaberner dynasty lived there, met at the court of Palatine Walram and his descendants of the European aristocracy, here trans-European marriage plans were forged within the prevailing political alliances, already enjoyed mid-18. For nearly 200 years, the former "Remise" of the Bergzabern Castle was under the cloak of changing restaurants.
