Positive: Excellent value for money! Easily the biggest place we lived at during our trip! Super spacious with a bedroom, traditional tatami living room as well as a TV room and fully equipped kitchen. Absolutely clean and comfortable. We had great fun shopping for local foods from the nearby Trial Mega Centre which is open 24 hours, and preparing simple meals ourselves. Also located in a very quiet residential area - we were very conscious that even closing our car doors after dark sounded like we were going to wake the entire neighbourhood! Does not feel unsafe though! Cannot properly comment on location as we drove. It seems to be a short walk to nearby Kamikumamoto station. Parking instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Negative: Absolutely nitpicking here, but we did a load of laundry and had no airer or rack to dry, but we made do. Quiet suburb also made us very conscious of the noise we were making after hours. Would definitely still recommend to stay, and would stay again ourselves if we had the pleasure of visiting Kumamoto again.
