Just about 90 minutes by car from central Tokyo, Saiko (Lake Saiko), located at an altitude of 900 meters, is an area among the Fuji Five Lakes renowned for its tranquility and natural beauty. Saiko is largely undeveloped commercially, preserving much of its original nature. Strolling along the lakeshore, you can enjoy breathtaking views featuring the contrast of Mt. Fuji, the lush green sea of trees, and the cobalt blue lake surface. Thanks to these views, the Saiko area quietly appears in many domestic and international advertisements-many people have likely seen it without realizing.
