【Sightseeing Spots】
It is a 1-minute walk to the clear stream Asemigawa River, where you can see ayu and amego swimming.
It is within walking distance for children in their bathing suits. In summer, it is a popular river play spot that is crowded with many tourists.
Even outside of summer, you can enjoy playing in the river, such as walking around the creatures on the riverbank and catching small fish.
About 3 minutes by car, there is the largest dam in Shikoku, the Sameura Dam. At the dam lake of Sameura Dam, you can enjoy activities such as black bass fishing, canoeing, SUP (stand-up paddle) and cycling along the lakeside.
The Yoshino River is also famous for rafting. About 30 minutes by car, Ohboke Gorge is home to many rafting service companies and is crowded with many customers from spring to autumn.
It is located in the middle of Shikoku, and Matsuyama City and Takamatsu City are within walking distance of a day trip. It is also a very convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Shikoku.
