Summary: The positives were the location, right near a metro and a short walk to Dotonbori where there are loads of bars, shops and restaurants. It was quiet at night. There are lots of free toiletries available including razors, hair ties, toothbrushes (all wrapped in copious plastic though). The downsides are the room is tiny with nowhere to store luggage or clothing. A main selling point for us was the rooftop pool but that is only open in summer, so we couldn't use it, and you can only use the spa/ public bath if you're prepared to go naked (we weren't). The pillows are hard and crunchy, I got a bad neck. My main concern was safety, it is very difficult to get out of the building, the lifts are very busy so it can take 20 minutes to get down to the lobby, and there are no stairs. If you are claustrophobic this is the worst place to stay. It was very overpriced, for what it was. The most expensive place we stayed in Japan and also our least favourite.
