Positive: After the hustle and bustle of the big cities, we were thrilled by this little property nestled in the heart of the mountains. The staff was so genuine and friendly that we felt right at home. We took our meals at the lodge where the same staff prepared traditional Japanese breakfasts and dinners for us, which were delicious. Getting there is fun too! You ride the ski lift down and up from the hotel and the views are spectacular. We were there in the fall and the fall colors and snow monkeys were all out and about.

Summary: Loved it! Will be back in the winter.
