Summary: Hotel room is very clean and spacious. Both the sitting room and bath room have sea view. You can have small light for bedtime reading. According to the information, the hotel runs only 17 rooms but the whole area of hotel is very large with many room left not renovated. At night, you can experience 95% darkness outside. Fortunately, you should see bright starry night in good weather. However, we have stayed with small typhoon so nothing can see. Anyway, we have enjoyed our room and noticed the heavy rain and strong wind frequently. We are safe and calm. With 10 min walk, you can go to the Coral Beach. Water is clear and you can see some coral fishes. With 15 min walk, you can climb up to a Look-out and can see 180 degree of Kohama Jima. We are luckily to see a Ruddy Kingfisher and its sound during our stay. A restaurant is located next to the Hotel. If it is not your choice, the Hotel can help to book a restaurant in advance for dinner. The restaurant will arrange free transportation for the customers. The breakfast is nice and heartfelt. A young boy will prepare coffee if you want. We ride from Iriomote to Kohama, there is ferry once a day. It saves time and money. To check with the ferry schedules carefully especially during the bad weather. You may find the ferry would be stop with short notice.
