Positive: Atsuko San was really helpful before and during our stay. Really lovely to see rural Japan. There's also an amazing Japanese onsen nearby which Atsuko San told us about. Don't miss out on the outdoor experience like I did (as the labels were in Japanese) but apparently you can see a view of the bridge with the sky from the outdoor onsen.
