Summary: We stayed at the Hilton Tokyo in a King Premium Room with Sofa Bed (nicknamed the “lucky room”), and it was an excellent experience overall. The room design was impressive, with plenty of smart storage space — especially under the cabinets, which made it easy to store and organize large luggage. The espresso machine and tea selection were a lovely touch, and the hotel even surprised us with birthday treats, which made the stay extra special. The staff were outstanding — friendly, professional, and very attentive. They were also understanding about our check-in and check-out times, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety including Indian dishes, traditional Japanese options, and Western choices. There was also plenty of complimentary water in the room, and the staff even offered a small treat upon departure, which was a wonderful gesture. It’s also a pickup spot for the Airport Limousine Bus, making it very convenient at the end of a trip. Our room felt roomy and comfortable, even for three friends with lots of luggage at the end of our Japan trip. The only minor downside was that the shower floor was a bit slippery, and the shower head didn’t stay in position well — it would be perfect with a rain shower. While the hotel is a short walk from the train station (not quite as central as being right by Shinjuku Station), the location was still very convenient for getting around Tokyo. Overall, Hilton Tokyo is a fantastic hotel.
