Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is fantastic, being very close to the train stations and across the road from the big markets and restaurants. The owner let us enter the room early. The owner did answer our online questions fairly quickly.

Negative: Before we arrived we had accepted the room being very small, but other things were difficult. 1. We had to message continually to find out things that should be written down and available in the room. Such as, the wi fi password and what to do to get clean towels. TV and air-conditioning operation instructions. 2. There's no location info for the washing machines and the sole microwave. The machines have no usage instructions in English. 3. Microwave is supposed to be on the 4th floor, it's on the 5th floor. 4. Whilst the room is cheaper than Shinjuku, it's expensive for Ueno. There should be daily cleaning for the price. There's no daily cleaning during your stay. 5. There's no one on duty at the hotel. 6. The owner did answer our questions fairly quickly, but a little customer service would go a long way.
