Positive: Great location in Shibu Onsen, key to access the public baths and two additional onsen in property make it perfect so you can bath and relax any time you want. Yukata and getta are provided. The room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The tatami was spotless clean and well preserved, feels it was renovated not too long ago. You'll love it if you want to stay in a traditional Japanese room. The hotel itself is old but well preserved so you won't have an issue with noise or facilities really. The owners are very kind and gentle couple.

Negative: It was difficult to hang and dry our towels for the next day. Therw was a very dusty metal object at the back of the room. We didn't know what it was but it took up space and smelled dusty when nearby.
