Summary: First of all, the room was indeed spacious and reasonably comfortable. The positive comment stops here. The owner was extremely rude and the reception area was unstaffed most of the time. I arrived around 12:30 but walked into an empty hotel lobby. A lady popped her head out from the kitchen and abruptly said the check in time is not til 15:00. She asked me to leave my luggage in an unsupervised area where everyone with a room key can access, which was absurd. When I returned at 15:10 there was another two group of people waiting to be checked in. I waited in the queue and the guy (who I think is the owner) looked at me and “ordered” me to sit down. When it’s my turn he wasn’t bothered to speak English but use Japanese the most of time (and kept it brief, not as detailed as he did to other guest). He ran front desk and also housekeeping by himself, which is probably why there is zero service in this hotel - unwilling to hire someone to provide decent service.
