Positive: Katsushi and Kyoko are a super sweet couple who run the lodge out of their home, and they made me feel genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere is warm, peaceful, and personal in a way you rarely find anymore. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable. The food they prepared for us (available with an additional payment) was absolutely amazing — homemade, fresh, and made with so much care. It truly felt like staying with family rather than at a guesthouse. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you want an authentic, heartwarming experience in the area, this is the perfect choice. I would come back in a heartbeat.
