Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: It was fun to have a pension experience with dinners and breakfast provided. Everything was tasty. Dinner drinks not included but there was a good wine list to go with the continental dinner cuisine. Really nice onsen bath inside with genuine local hot spring water (full of minerals, very hot, slightly sour) in the wood & tile tub.

Negative: Hotel's wi-fi was weak and disconnecting all the time. (However, surprisingly NTT DOCOMO coverage was strong all over town including here so I was still connected).

Summary: European flair in a traditional Japanese spa town
