Summary: Raid Jamai definitely has the potential to be a much better place to stay. The building itself is beautiful and has some amazing features, but unfortunately, the property feels outdated and is in need of renovation. With proper care, maintenance, and attention to detail, it could look absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to the expected standard. In the room we stayed in, there was mould around the mirror, and the shower did not work properly. These issues affected our overall experience and could easily be improved with better upkeep. Another thing worth mentioning is that there was no assistance available to help us with our luggage when taking it to the taxi. This can be quite challenging, especially as you have to walk a fair distance through the market to reach the taxi area. For older guests or anyone with mobility difficulties, this could be particularly inconvenient. Overall, the property has great potential, and with some renovation, improved cleanliness, and better attention to guest needs, it could become a truly beautiful place to stay.
