Positive: A little confusing to find but probably our own fault. We put Sakura Bella Hotel into our GPS and it took us to Sakura Hotel which was wrong. Staff were kind and pointed to where our hotel was. We could actually see it and it’s sign was Hotel Bella. Tiny entrance, tiny reception and tiny lift. All manageable though. The young lady at reception greeted us warmly. The room was very small which is not uncommon in Japan but would have been the smallest of our whole trip. We could not have cases out and instead stood them under the TV at the end of the bed. The shower room, however, was big. There is a sink in the main room and a separate toilet. The bed was very comfortable, water was hot and WiFi good. We were only there to sleep so the room was adequate. Walking distance to 7 Eleven, Family Mart, green grocers and restaurants. Close to Ikebukuro station. In the station go towards Central West North exit. I think we followed the Fukutoshin brown line markings on the floor. You will see stairs going down with exits C1-10 above them. Vie de France cafe is on your right near the top of the stairs. Follow it along and take the C6 exit. We would stay again and this hotel is pretty good value for the position.

Negative: The room was very tiny but in saying that a lot of rooms are in Japan.
