Positive: Great staff and lovely location. Easy to get to from Gora station. There was a refresh station, where you can get free snacks at certain times. We received some fresh taiyaki as well as ice creams. The onsens were great - many pools with a variety of temperatures. The public outdoor bath was very relaxing. The room itself was amazing - large with our own open-air bath. Loved it and will book again.

Negative: The halls of the guest rooms carried sound too well. We could hear other guests in the hallways as well as the pipes of other guests' rooms throughout the night.

Summary: Great ryokan but bring earplugs
