Summary: First time to Liuqiu and was impressed by the hospitality of Teacher Cai and staff. Given the rural country side feel of the island, this homestay was better than I had expected. Although it costs more than others, and doesn't have elevator, I wouldn't mind staying here again next time I come over. This homestay is located downtown near the pier, and close to just about everything. There are other homestays that are next to the ocean where you get great ocean and sunset views, but you'd need to know how to ride a scooter to go downtown where the restaurants are or get around the island.
