Summary: Just had a wonderful stay at Xianal Vacation Chateau (夏內爾渡假民宿). It was just a piece of paradise among the strawberry fields. It's just off the busy Taiwan Route No 3, but the noise level was not a concern due to good sound insulations. It's also a short drive to the town of Dahu for a nice meal. The hosts are very enthusiastic and helpful, and are just a pleasure to chat with. The room was tastefully decorated, with top-shelve amenities. The breakfast was a surprising large tray with delicious food items. We loved it so much to want to extend our stay for an extra day, but unfortunately the rooms were all booked for the night. We'd like to be back for a revisit!
