Summary: Couldn't check in following the check in instruction, the door was locked when it was not supposed to. Emailed and chat multiple times with no response and the Expedia agent was absolutely useless. I eventually asked a nice Japanese gentleman for help in calling the hosts local number directly, and he came and unlocked the door for me. We were stranded outside for 1 hour with 3 kids.
