Positive: We liked the property a lot, but it is worth knowing in advance what this place offers. The tatami mat rooms can be uncomfortable for some people and the shared toilets are for sure another inconvenient. What you get though is a traditional Japanese house. We especially liked the private onsen experience and the decorations in the room. We also liked the proximity to Dogo onsen, it’s a 5 minute walk away.

Negative: With literally paper thin walls you are at the mercy of your fellow travelers, bring ear plugs.
