Negative: Renovations taking place.. tight entrance to get through the door. As soon as I walked in to check in the young owner said “no dinner now! “ I had sent two messages asking this question but we had no reply! No indication that breakfast wasn’t included in the price. Even when the wife asked if we wanted breakfast nothing was mentioned that it was extra and that it was going to be €14 each plus €5 for our dog. When we went to leave the young owner asked have you paid?? He didn’t look very happy when I said what for in French? Everywhere that we have stayed in France have included breakfast as part of the deal that you pay… ones we had booked through BOOKING .COM also, all saying on their advert, breakfast available - This was very confusing for us. Booking.com need to have it mentioned if there is going to be an extra payment for breakfast etc. This was very embarrassing especially as the couple who owned the hotel did not speak any English! He did let us off €8.00 because he saw my face when I questioned that it wasn’t mentioned anywhere? Otherwise I wish them well with their business.

Summary: It was ok for one night. The waitress is lovely and friendly- a credit to the place.
