Positive: Friendly hotel with tatami rooms, nice views of Mt. Asama, excellent kaiseki style food and a nice onsen. Good value for money in my view.

Negative: This is a matter of taste, but the onsen does not have a sauna or cold tub. The property is a bit dated.
